According to model A of the setting-up frame work, school of Engineering & Information Technologies replaced the former two faculties; faculty of technology & faculty of Informatics with the following departments as sub-unit

The school will deliver an applied, value based student centered learning experience that produces well rounded innovative engineers & technology leaders with the skills, passion, and courage to make a difference. Core educational values include team work ability with individuals from different disciplines and culture, and to consider their work from regional & national perspective.

The school of engineering and information technologies seeks:

  • To produce graduates who are responsible leaders, think critically, act wisely, and work skillfully to advance technology transfer and progress.
  • To develop individual who combine carrier competency with intellectual curiosity.

In addition to excellence in teaching, the school of engineering must also develop research programs where students will be engaged in the experience. Currently around 3858 students pursue degrees in undergraduate and 140 students in post graduate programs.

The school of engineering enjoys the counsel and support of school's board composed of the Dean, an optimal vice dean and the heads of the department belonging to the school. The school's board is the managing board of the school and in change of making the best use of budget and resources assigned to the school in fulfilling the teaching & research duties, development planning approval of curricula.
