eTeaching @ Adama University

The Adama University eTeaching portal is an online eTeaching experience which provides an interactive learning environment. eTeaching experience implies online delivery of courses with live chat and engaging role for students and teachers. Online workshops enable the students to collaborate and evaluate each other's work, impromptu pools let the teachers evaluate what students think of a course's program, directories set aside allow students to upload and share their files.

This online eTeaching experience's core learning theory is based on sharing ideas and engages the students in the construction of knowledge (Social Constructionism).

It is practically full of different kinds of students-to-students and students-to-teachers interaction.

The eTeaching's learning support system (LSS) applies the Modular Object-Oriented Dynamic Learning Environment (Moodle).

Moodle provides the eTeaching Team with tools to create a course web portal with access control. Enrolled students can participate in eTeaching and eLearning.
