According to model of the setting-up frame work, school of Business Administration Management and Trade replaced the former Faculty of Business and Economics.

The Adama University School of Business Administration, Management and Trade (AUSOB) is bound to develop leaders to drive organizational performance in Ethiopian and International Business.

AUSOB is aiming to become Ethiopia's first internationally recognized Business School providing excellence in Management Education and Research. Therefore it is developing its Study Programs in Cooperation with German and US Universities with a special focus on Entrepreneurship and planning to establish On Campus Model Enterprises in Co-operation with the national and international Business Community.

By studying at AUSOB you will learn to plan the use of Resources, to organize processes, to motivate and lead employees as well as to control and improve business performance.

The School currently has five Departments conducting study programs on Bachelor and Postgraduate Level with the following departments as sub-unit.
